A new Cultural Charter for Soil and Substrates has been launched by Studio Fabre Hardy in collaboration with Richard Scott (National Wildflower Centre at the Eden Project) and Polly Moseley (Scouse Flowerhouse).
The Cultural Charter has emerged through collaboration with a growing circle of organisations all dedicated to soil as the source of life. Soil is rising rapidly up the agenda, and is the critical starting point for any habitat creation work.
The large-scale banner was first revealed at the 22nd World Congress of Soil Science in Glasgow, UK last month anf features artworks by Jamie Reid and writings by Gerry Potter. It also includes the soil mantra ‘The future is in our hands, the future is in the soils’ created by Studio Fabre Hardy for the 2015 UN International Year of Soils.
