CIEEM’s Key Comments:

• This is an ambitious plan recognising the scale and urgency of change that is required. National Parks need to be the foci for nature restoration at a faster and larger scale than what may be possible elsewhere.
• There are clearly defined aims and objectives and SMART targets throughout which we are very pleased to see as well as clear recognition of the key drivers of biodiversity loss.
• There should be an implementation plan with clear deliverables that is signed up to by the various agencies and stakeholders.
