Here you will find our response to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Draft National Park Partnership Plan consultation. This response was developed by our Scotland Policy Group.
CIEEM’s Key Comments:
- This is an ambitious plan recognising the scale and urgency of change that is required. National Parks need to be the foci for nature restoration at a faster and larger scale than what may be possible elsewhere.
- There are clearly defined aims and objectives and SMART targets throughout which we are very pleased to see as well as clear recognition of the key drivers of biodiversity loss.
- There should be an implementation plan with clear deliverables that is signed up to by the various agencies and stakeholders.
