SEPA to accept UKHab from November 2019

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has announced that they will consider a competently undertaken and presented UKHab survey to be an acceptable alternative to Phase 1 from November 2019.

Published guidance and templates (SEPA Land Use Guidance Notes 4, 18 and 31) will be updated to reflect this in the next guidance revision exercise. National Vegetation Classification will still be required for assessment of wetlands.
