CIEEM promote the highest professional standards to ensure public confidence in the professional services offered by our members.
Guided by our Competency Framework, we deliver an annual Professional Development Programme of training courses, conferences, webinars, and member network events covering themes and topics identified as relevant to the needs of our membership and the ecology/environmental management sectors. The sub-navigation pages to the right provide information for both existing trainers and potential trainers considering offering training courses with us.
How to become a CIEEM trainer
- Complete a Course Proposal Form and submit to training@cieem.net, which is then reviewed internally and considers your previous experience as a trainer and in your chosen subject area
- If accepted, organise an informal chat to discuss next steps, fees etc
- Sign and return the contract, along with Professional Indemnity and Professional Liability Insurance details
- We would then add the course details to the website and start promotion
- The trainer would then check through and return joining information, to circulate to delegates, along with any pre course information
- A delegate list and Zoom links (if online course) would be circulated to the trainer
- If applicable, post course documents and feedback form is then sent to delegates
- A summary of the feedback is then sent to the trainer and an informal chat to discuss the outcome can be organized
- Set a date for the next course!
