The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) is widely recognised as the leading professional membership body for Ecologists and Environmental Managers working to protect and enhance nature for the benefit of society. We are a not-for-profit organisation governed by our Royal Charter (see below) and are also a registered charity.

Our staff cover a broad range of skills (e.g. administration, membership, training and events, professional practice standards, policy influencing, marketing, communications, finance, volunteer management etc.) which collectively help to keep CIEEM running smoothly and effectively.
