Updated Briefing Paper on BNG in Ireland now available online

In December 2023, the Ireland Policy Group published a Briefing Paper on Biodiversity Enhancement for New Developments in Ireland. That document was a first step intended to initiate and inform discussion among stakeholders. CIEEM recognises this is a fast-moving landscape and following our initial outreach we have reviewed and made some changes to the text. This updated document can be downloaded from the CIEEM Resource Hub.

The Ireland Policy Group are in the process of following this Briefing Paper with a Position Paper and will be conducting extensive consultation with our Ireland members on its development. We look forward to engaging with our membership further on this.
