Dr Richard Lilley focuses on improving knowledge and understanding of seagrass ecosystems, primarily in Scotland. Project Seagrass was created with the intention with reversing the loss of seagrass by turning research into effective conservation action and communication through partnerships with local communities and other stakeholders. Richard detailed the various seagrass restoration projects happening around the Scottish coastline and the potential for further restoration.
