This guidance has been produced to help those looking to undertake work experience in the UK and Ireland, whether with public, private or voluntary sector organisations, to ensure that it is a properly planned and rewarding experience that will assist you with entering the profession of ecological and environmental management. It emphasises the value and benefits of such opportunities to both those undertaking the work experience, and to the host organisation. This guidance covers work experience for people who are aged 18 years or over. It does not cover work experience for younger people or vulnerable adults where different legislative requirements apply.
