CIEEM has joined a coalition of leading environmental, planning, and business organisations in writing to all Labour MPs ahead of the Planning and Infrastructure Bill returning to the House of Commons.

The joint letter welcomes the Government’s recognition that development and nature recovery must go hand in hand and urges support for the Bill in its current form, including Amendment 40. This amendment ensures that Environmental Delivery Plans focus on strategic, landscape-scale challenges such as water and air quality, while retaining robust protections for species and habitats.
