Guidance on EIS and NIS Preparation for Offshore Renewable Energy Projects

The purpose of this non-statutory guidance is to assist developers in preparing Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Natura Impact Statements (NIS) that may be required for development projects; and to provide competent authorities, consultation bodies and the public with a basis for determining the adequacy of these statements.

This is part of our Good Practice Guidance for Marine Mammals, produced by Claire Lacey, Jon Barnes and Patrick Lynes.
