CIEEM has today launched a new All Party Parliamentary Group for Nature.

The Group was officially launched in the Palace of Westminster today with Steve Double MP, Barry Gardiner MP, Caroline Lucas MP, Kerry McCarthy MP, Angela Smith MP and Baroness Barbara Young of Old Scone being elected as Officers of the new group. Barry Gardiner MP was elected as the group’s Chair.

The launch concluded with talks from experts on the topic of natural capital, and included the launch of CIEEM’s new briefing on natural capital for policy-makers.

We must extend a special thanks to the parliamentarians who attended the launch, the speakers and the attendees who provided a lively discussion at the end of the meeting.
