Scottish Government Looking to Appoint Board Members of Independent Scrutiny Body
Scottish Government has now opened recruitment for Board members of Environmental Standards Scotland; the new independent environmental scrutiny body.
Ministers are looking to appoint a Chair and two other members who are “adept at building relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and public authorities; analysing the strength and validity of diverse evidence, making sound judgements, and who are highly skilled at communicating complex information with impact.”
Appointments are expected to last between two and four years, with the possibility of extension.
Full details for both roles can be found on the Public Appointments Scotland website. Applications close on 7 September 2020.
