A field survey of 13 of the 30 P. ralfsii localities was undertaken in 2009–2011 to record information on population size, structure, associated vegetation and environmental variables. From further analysis of data collected, ecological indicators and associated targets were derived to assess the conservation condition of each locality and monitoring methods were developed.
This is part of our Good Practice Guidance for Habitats and Flora, produced by Richard Jefferson, Dominic Price, Iain Diack, Steve Coates and Andy Mclay.
