New Level 7 Ecologist Apprenticeship Launched
An all new level 7 Ecologist apprenticeship that CIEEM members have helped to develop has been launched this week.
Three specialisms are offered as part of the scheme, including: Ecological Consultant, Ecological Scientist or Landscape Ecologist.
It is expected that the schemes will last 3 years and, on completion of the scheme, apprentices will hold an MSc degree in an ecological discipline relevant to their job role, for example Ecology, Environmental Conservation or Conservation Biology. Employers will set entry level requirements.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship will result in eligibility for the appropriate level of membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
Employers can now start recruiting apprentices to start from September onwards.
