Let us know what you think about Part 3 of the Planning and Infrastructure Bill
We are carrying out a simple short survey to find out what ecologists and environmental managers really think about the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. This is not a scientific study, we are simply asking professionals working in the ecology sector to complete a short three-question poll to get a sense of what the profession currently thinks, what is causing concern or what is causing hope for the future. This information will be used to represent to Government the views of the profession most impacted by the proposed changes.
Conducting this survey is not about creating alarm or suggesting any particular course of action – we simply want to ensure that decision-makers understand the real-world implications for ecological professionals like you. The poll is completely anonymous and takes less than two minutes to complete.
So, Part 3:
• Is it as bad as many think? Or does it hold the key to nature’s recovery?
• Does it give you confidence for the future? Or are you considering a change of career?
• Given the potential shift in how nature is treated as part of the planning process, would you encourage others to choose the profession as a career?
