Forestry Commission Publish Guidance on Managing England’s Woodlands in a Climate Emergency

The Forestry Commission has recently published a guidance document, titled “Managing England’s Woodlands in a Climate Emergency” which provides practical advice to landowners on ways they can better manage their woodland to combat the effects of climate change.

The guidance includes likely impacts of climate change on England’s trees and woodland, principles for adapting England’s woodlands, managing adaptation of England’s woodlands and reducing risk through diversification of species, structure and management.
