Environment Bill Scrutiny Paused

Environment minister, Rebecca Pow, has adjourned the House of Commons Environment Bill committee today in light of the government’s response to the COVID-19 virus.

The committee has been suspended until at least 28 April, however, the Minister said it will not reconvene until an “appropriate point”. Minister Pow thanked the committee for their scrutiny so far.

We will continue watching the progress of the Bill and update when a date has been set for the committee to return.
