CIEEM Granted Charity Status

We are pleased to announce that CIEEM has this month, June 2020, been granted charity status.

At the 2018 AGM, members approved CIEEM applying for charitable status. Following a lengthy application process to the Charity Commission, we are now a charity registered in England and Wales.

Our Royal Charter Objects mean that we already exist to create public benefit. Becoming a charity reiterates this purpose. Look out for an article in the September edition of In Practice magazine on why we applied for this status, and what we will do with it.
