CBD COP15 Postponed to October 2021

The 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has been postponed again, this time until 11-24 October 2021.

The events – which will see the world’s nations agree a new Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) – was originally scheduled for 15-28 October 2020, which was postponed due to COVID-19 until 17-30 May 2021, and has now been delayed further.

The latest version of the GBF “Zero Draft” is available on the CBD website.

The meeting is still due to take place physically in Kunming, China.
