BNG go live date announced

The Statutory Instrument that says when Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) will be become mandatory has been published.

The government published the secondary legislation today, which states that BNG will become mandatory from 12 February 2024.

Further secondary legislation, covering the final details, is however still to be confirmed by parliament.
