We are currently recruiting 4 volunteers to join our Training, Education and Career Development Committee (TECDC). These vacancies are suitable for experienced or early career members keen to help us build skills and capacity within our sector and meet the Continuing Professional Development needs of our members. TECDC has oversight of our professional development activities including: the training programme, conferences, webinars, career development activities, and links with universities and other higher education institutes.
Activities you could be involved in:
- Reviewing conference papers and help shape the programme of our 6 conferences
- Identifying new areas of work and opportunities
- Act as an auditor as part of the annual review of members’ CPD
- Contribute to CIEEM’s strategic planning processes

Looking back at my original application to be a committee member I had said “I’m really keen for some interesting and challenging new experiences and to network with members of CIEEM I wouldn’t normally get chance to work. If I’m successful, my time on the committee will hopefully give me new skills and ideas I can develop in my day to day role.” I’m confident that my time on TECDC has given me the new experiences I hoped for and hope my contributions have been valuable to CIEEM and members. I’ve really enjoyed working with CIEEM secretariat and members of the committee and learnt a lot from you all.
