CIEEM Water Vole Competency Standard Published

We are pleased to publish the first of our taxa-specific competency standards; the Competency Standard for Water Vole Survey, Mitigation and Management.

These standards were developed with our volunteer members to tell the practitioner what they need to know and what they should be able to do in order to demonstrate increasing levels of competence.

These competency standards are derived from the CIEEM Competency Framework and have also drawn on the Ecological Competences: Skills and Process document published by Atkins in 2019.

The Water Vole standard document is a draft version and we would welcome comments and feedback. More information on the standards and how to provide feedback is available here.
