New Grant Funding For Wales’ Natura 2000 Sites

The Welsh Government, in partnership with Natural Resources Wales, has launched a new grant funding scheme of £4 million for for large-scale projects to maintain and improve Natura 2000 sites.

Organisations and individuals who can demonstrate action to improve Natura 2000 sites by March 2021 are encouraged to apply.

The funding also seeks to also deliver benefits to communities and landscapes surrounding Natural 2000 sites, and boost the resilience of ecosystems to climate impacts.
