As an employer, how you can support the STEM Ambassador Programme
The STEM Ambassador programme has the flexibility to suit all organisations, regardless of their size. As an employer, you can decide the level of engagement:
- Low engagement – encourage staff to sign up, allow time off for volunteering
- Medium engagement – host a sign-up event, develop targets around engagement with young people, host activities at your site or plan bespoke activities to be delivered at school, college, in the community or online
- High engagement – embed the STEM Ambassador Programme into your workplace culture and strategic plans. Host activities and events at your site for young people. Work with STEM Learning to develop bespoke resources for volunteers related to sector
