Our volunteer community is at the heart of everything we do.
We are managed by our members through the volunteers who serve on the Governing Board, Standing Committees, Advisory Forum, Member Network Committees, assessor pools and working groups. You can discover more about the work of these committees on the Governance pages.
Our amazing volunteers dedicate around 19,000 hours of their time to our cause each year. That’s the equivalent of 10 full time jobs! Around half of them are involved in our range of Member Network Committees and you can find out more about what these guys get up to on the Member Network pages.
If you want to make a difference to your Institute and help take the profession forward, supporting our mission to raise the profile of professional Ecologists and Environmental Managers and promoting the highest standards of practice, then check out the many ways in which you can volunteer. In return, you can expect to enjoy professional recognition, influencing your sector, networking with a wide range of people and getting involved with lots of interesting projects you may not otherwise have heard about.
Head on over to the Members’ area to find out more about who our volunteers are, current vacancies, volunteer role profiles, and to see how you can get involved.
