CIEEM Vice-President for Ireland, Will Woodrow, has written to the Irish Taoiseach and Minister Noonan to urge them to attend the forthcoming COP15 event at the end of the year which will agree a new post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
The letter outlines the importance and urgency of the biodiversity crisis and how it must be addressed in tandem with the climate emergency.
The letter details actions that the Irish Government can take to show leadership at COP15 and set us on the road to halting and then reversing the decline in biodiversity.
