 Job Description

The successful applicant will be a full time member of the Countryside and Environment Academic Team. The post is based on the Aberdeen Campus and interacts with related staff across the Faculty, wider organization and beyond. We are looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to help inspire our undergraduate and postgraduate students. The post holder will complement existing academic staff to deliver practical, field and college based education in Countryside and Wildlife Conservation Management. The successful applicant will develop and participate in research relevant to the subject area and will be strongly encouraged to collaborate with scientists in our local Partner academic organizations.

Applicants should hold a minimum of BSc (honours) in Countryside Management, Wildlife Conservation or an equivalent Environmental Science degree. Possession of a relevant MSc or PhD qualification is highly desirable and prior experience in education and / or research will be an advantage. A working knowledge of current issues relating to Countryside Management is essential and practical conservation skills are desirable.
