The Green Partnership, a small but successful mission-led Green Infrastructure Consultancy with extensive national customers, is expanding its leadership team. We aim to build on the successes we have achieved to date, taking our biodiversity offerings to the next level.
This new and exciting leadership role is likely to suit an individual who has hands-on experience in assessing biodiversity in the field, designing solutions, delivering projects, nurturing customer, and collaborator partnerships, and leading a team. We are also looking for someone with an entrepreneurial flair who wants direct ownership in building something truly great. In this role, you will be at the forefront of helping to build on successful foundations of our company.
The role will require hands-on delivery while driving leadership through developing and growing a specialist team as the business continues to be successful. You should be as comfortable in the field making assessments as you are leading a team on complex projects. As a senior leader of the business, you will also be expected to continue and drive forward our efforts to foster collaboration and develop best practices in this important area.
In a nutshell your responsibilities, and that of your team as it builds, will include:
- Delivering surveys and baseline assessments.
- Designing and managing habitat creation, nature-based solutions, and biodiversity gains (in both urban and rural environments).
- Assessing and consolidating data (predominately GIS based).
- Writing strategies, reports, and management plans.
- Designing and delivering training to a wide range of stakeholders
- Collaborating to develop and drive best practices across multiple sectors.
For the right person, the role will be fully remote, allowing you to work from home and in the field. The role will require travel to customer sites, to support collaborations and for team meetings (predominately south and central England).
